I had just got out of a very long relationship and moved to NYC. I was very depressed at the time and I would go out every Thursday and get drunk at a different bar, explore the city and all that. The bar I went to on this particular night had a really hot bartender, but me being depressed I didn't want to talk to anyone. The bartender started talking to me and being really friendly, but I chalked it up to her trying to get tips. I told her my situation and she told me how she had just gotten out of a relationship too and thought I was really good looking and that I could get any girl I wanted if I tried. I just kind of laughed and thought 'wow this bartender is going all out for tips tonight'. I didn't pay for a single drink that night and when I went to leave the bartender begged me to stay and told me to take her number. Still I was thinking she was just being bartender flirty and didn't think anything of it. I never texted her, but I often think about how hot she was and wish I did.
