I hate to say it and agree... And I also hate to sound highly critical as I am about to unleash upon you...

Because I enjoyed the first season of this show so much. First season was AMAZING. It had real epic-power-struggle vibes (almost like House of Cards in some ways, in terms of power struggles)...

But then... ya... came the second season...

Which was just so... so... utterly bad and unwatchable for me personally, that I completely gave up on the show, and was feeling "insulted" and "affronted" by the show's writers and producers! Like my IQ was dropping off a cliff with each episode of Season 2 I watched!

(Lol! I know that's an overreaction, but that's how I honestly literally felt. What can I say. I could lie, and hide it, but I'm just being honest now with the experience.)

And so, I'm now left feeling highly hesitant in revisiting it ever again.

Once season 3 comes out, I certainly will NOT be scrambling to watch it, given my experience with Season 2...

instead, I'll let others be the guinea pigs, and if they all come back raving on this subreddit, and saying that it's "Just as good as Season 1!" and "Has redeemed itself!" and "The Morning Show is BACK baby!" then, and only then, will I use my highly valuable free time to watch Season 3!

Side note:

The excuse often given, is that some say it was due to the "pandemic", so sure I guess you can blame the pandemic. The pandemic has been horrific and effected nearly every aspect of our lives.

But... in that case I think a far wiser decision by the producers would have been to wait, rather than putting that out, and pretty much destroying the reputation of the show for so many people.

Like the producers and directors didn't read the revised script?

And or didn't sit in for some of the filming to get a feel of how things were going?

And or, didn't watch the final edited versions before they were released?

Personally, I would NEVER have authorized the release of Season 2!
