Eh, they try to avoid discussing politics but that's hard when that's the thing that's derailing your life.

She's a very outspoken, smart and interesting lady (capable of retaining hours of OPC talking points) and they normally discuss these things fairly respectfully, the delivery and mannerisms are the same with polar opposite views.. it's actually pretty funny to watch.

Just from what I've seen, it's really difficult dealing with a radicalized parent, especially when you've always been (and are otherwise) really close.

It also seems like a lot of these discussions happen after certain misleading/false fb posts, this one the day he found out how extensive the OSAP cuts are, so there's that :\

I think since OP was able to snap out of it (OPC), he keeps waiting for "this to be the thing" that makes her finally acknowledge the party is toxic but it never happens.
