No one in this sub said ft.Messi is a waste. No one said don't use ft.Ronaldo. No one said its not worth to max ft.Mbappe. when someone posts squad with 2 or 3 featured players nobody in this sub comments what you mentioned above. When someone posts more than 5 featured players in their squad people comments like saying 'too much purple' cause there's a little message behind it saying to collect their respective base version cause they'll be surely gone in 20. Many new players still don't know that featured will be gone. If a guy who started Pes today got ft.Messi he will never search for a replacement for him at his position and he'll get f up when it's gone.

No offense mate. Anyone can use any player based on their personal preference to strengthen their squad. But when you are using more number of ft.players ,remember to find replacements for them.

And the thing about base players, Konami never told us information while opening any packs that they'll be carried over or they'll be gone in previous versions (17 and 18). They just informed in the FAQ of new versions that they'll be carried over. So eventually base will be carried. And they strictly said featured would be gone. But they can change their decisions at any moment. So till now we can consider that base will be carried as usual.
