Here's what I think: I think you're an American yourself. I think you are disillusioned, because I think you're very young, and I think you believe that there's something better out there in the world.

There is.

That's the surprise. We can get back to that in a second, though.

In your naiveté, and your inexperience, you believe that the injustice you've seen, and the things you've read about both America, and other countries, has shown that this place is a lie. You are waking up, like Neo, and if only the rest of us could see, we'd understand.

This is where your youth comes into play, and betrays you.

There has never, and, for at least our lifetimes, will never, be a country on Earth, that truly represents the best of all things, all interests, all hope, all good, all honesty.

Any country of that kind of cleanliness relies upon citizens that make up that country, and neither of us, or anyone else, has ever been so clean.

Yep, I think you're an American born kid, just like me. And I think you're angry about the way things are going, but you don't know how to say it, you don't know what to do, and so ... you attack from outside. Because, I have to also presume, you're young, and the concept of complex beliefs and complex (hateful, justified, ignorant, familial, whatever) feelings just don't make sense to you, and nobody above your age is willing to speak to you about those things frankly.

We are all circling the same drain. Denmark to Dayton. We are circling the same drain.

I love this place because it's the only place I have ever known, and I have NOT LISTENED to the propaganda enough to know that WE ARE SO WRONG, SO OFTEN, that we need to heed these things, we need to know and respond correctly to these kinds of warnings from around the world.

But I also know that we have weathered great storms, and still navigate terrible waters. I still know that we are great because we didn't, and haven't just given it up to a Putin-like "democracy". What broken rule we have is still so mob-like and so infantile THAT IT IS CONSTANTLY DANGEROUS, and that is what makes it so purposeful and so relevant.
