Most heated moment of the 8th Republican primary debate: Trump first educates the viewing audience about eminent domain, and then proceeds to call out the RNC for filling the audience with the endless donors and special interest groups who are funding Jeb's campaign (See the OpenSecrets link below)

I disagreed with literally all of that.

Economy > Social Issues in my eyes.

I disagree. The economy can easily figure itself out, given a few rules to prevent a few long running wealthy families (no inheritance, no ownership of land, etc). That's what the economy does. Don't fuck with it (taxes, handouts, etc), and it'll do good.

Social issues, however, have no such thing. Which is where a regulatory body needs to step in. To make sure no one is being unfairly punished for something outside of their control. Along with being able to own/buy/sell/use whatever you want, and to freely go where you choose to go. These are critical liberties that need to be in place for an economy to even be relevant in the first place.

If America fails economicly, social issues will be the last thing on your mind.

If America fails economically, the first thing on my mind is how relaxed immigration/emmigration is so that I may leave, or freely do things without relying on the shitshow of a government..

he doesn't like abortion but he isn't against it.

That's my general view as well, so that's good.

He isn't against immigration, he is against illegal immigration.

Well obviously everyone is against illegal immigration. That's not what I meant. I meant views on ease of legal immigration. The US is the most difficult country to immigrate to, which is why we have so many illegal immigrants in the first place. From what I can tell, Trump wants to go the isolationist route and make it more difficult for people to immigrate or outsource.

Also he isn't against gay rights, he thinks it should be left to the states.

I disagree with states having varying rules/regulations. Every time I hear "leave it up to the states" that's code for "this is not an important issue, and there's nothing wrong with either side". But the fact of the matter is, that if you can marry legally in one state, and then have that marriage nulled when you simply move around on the earth, that's ridiculous. Same goes with owning something, and then passing an imaginary line and suddenly being a criminal. It's absurd. Things shouldn't vary based on where you live.

He is a republican, he is for state over federal government.

I'm for federal over state, but having the federal government being smaller and less powerful. State government is easily the biggest shit show I've seen. Anything you leave to state governments ends up dystopian. Especially when you consider there's tons of state 'elections' with only one candidate. And that candidates aren't at all doing a good job.
