The suicide argument used an example that everyone can clearly agree with that is not okay to show parallels between that and tattoos. Both are irreversible damages to the body just of obviously varying degrees of permanence. When you’re a parent you don’t want your kid to harm themselves at all and just want the best for them. To be honest, most things in life are attention seeking, I just find tattoos to be a bit too obvious and unnecessary.
