The Mummy - Tom Cruise Pulls Off An Insane Stunt In Zero Gravity BTS Tease

When we're at the point where you're equating someone's religious belief with being a heroin addict, something has gone wrong. You have to draw a distinction between the actions of an organisation and the actions of an individual. I might think that Scientology is ridiculous and/or abhorrent, and I might think that about other religions too. In response, I can hold Scientology to account. If someone else has different standards or beliefs, they can choose what they want to do.

Trying to force apostasy on someone else because of your own beliefs is a terrible thing to do, regardless of how ludicrous the organisation. For example, you say you would treat Communism with more respect than religion. Frankly, I think you have it the wrong way around. It's almost impossible to argue which religion is right or wrong because there is no evidence for one to be more logical than the other - it isn't based in logic, it's based in faith. Political ideologies, however, can be readily defended or attacked on a logical basis. I would argue that Communism is just as inconsistent with rational as Scientology. At least Scientology accepts the leap of faith required to believe.
