My (18F) boyfriend (21M) is making me feel like an idiot about my degree.

Hey! Thanks so much for your input! (fistbump) Are you still working in finance? I was wondering if there was any way for me to end up working as a financial analyst with an economics degree, but when I asked him about that he laughed as well and said that no, that's what his degree was for. I'm also kind of shitty at maths for the time being, but if I study all of the time and get help when I need it I know I'm capable of learning what I need to know. Did you find it slightly challenging at times? Did the course have a lot of mathematics in it? I'm only in my first year, and I'm a little worried that I'll be surprised at the amount of numerical data that has to be handled.

He just woke up and texted me, making fun of something I said this morning on the phone about how investing 10% in renewables was what my friend (who deals in stocks as a hobby and makes quite a bit of money from it) does. I don't even really want to reply now, as I've been stewing in this all day and I'm just a bit sick of feeling this way. I have a politics class in half an hour so I won't be able to reply to anyone for a while, but thank you again!!!
