my(30m) sister(38f) tells me 30 is to old to turn my life around after a brutal meth addiction. I'm 11 months clean. Is there time to turn things around? can I still meet a beautiful and caring woman?

At 34, I had a minimum wage job, was severely addicted to food ans weighed 420lbs and had diabetes, had never had a real girlfriend, and lived with my mother.

I'm 42 now. I've been married for 2 years and have a 1 year old daughter. I have a career that provides a 6 figure income (and my wife makes more than me) and I own a home that cost over 1.3 million (well, the bank owns it).

I know this sounds very braggy or totally fake but it isn't. I wouldn't normally tell my story as crassly as this. But it's true and its proof that 30 is not to old to change your life. And anybody that tells you otherwise isn't to be listened to. Whether it's your sister or your own self talk.

Good luck.
