My dad has never had a cat but loves mine when he comes over to my house. He found a kitten crying outside a couple days ago who prefers sleeping like this. I hope he keeps it...

aww, thank you. I wrote that, and now I'm sitting here crying, missing him so much! the internet strikes again! anyways. I didnt have the heart to take him from his forest, and left him in upstate new york, to be a security manager of a chicken hatchery on an organic ranch, when he was bout 5. I thought I would have have to zero dark 30 rescue op him after the first few days, thinking he would kill everything in sight; it turns out, that he was a natural born father, and knew that all the chickens were the family of his new family. the chicks would follow him around in the barn, and the ranchers said they had never seen anything like it. some time later, he protected their 3 year old from a raccoon, and after that, he was awarded the holy distinction of sleeping in their house.(hence the name). he passed away when he was 8, and the ranchers told me that all their children made eulogies for him, and the youngest wanted him buried with distinction, in a place "where he could still be by the chickens". ah man... water works. reddit never met him, but it feels like they should. he was a magical, fierce little poet warrior. everyone meet my personal champion and best friend, The Notorious BubbaBoo
