Wow you guys are pretty hostile. I get that it is the system, but really it’s basic business practise to at least reply to messages, which they haven’t been doing. Hence the fact that I’m quite annoyed at them. Having spent serious money there, I feel like I’ve not been valued. I know how difficult it is to get, as I know of a few people who’ve got them from ADs. They’re so common on the grey market, it makes you wonder whether they’re really that rare.

Finally, if you’re willing to spend the money with a business, you’d think they’ll be happy to facilitate that bit of business to them. What I may have missed out is that I had been told that I’m being allocated a Daytona when they stopped messaging me. Hence the comment about management.

Feel free to think what you will about me, but I’ve worked hard at trying to do my best to buy some of these toys for myself. Having spent nearly $60k at this dealership, so I think it’s basic business practise to be a little bit more friendly towards the customer. I haven’t hounded them but I took it slow and have been carrying out this process of asking for a Daytona for 2-3 years. I know the other clientele of this AD, and I know the type of watches that pass through them so I’m aware that I might be amongst their top customers.

Also, I’m not complaining at the fact that I can’t get a Daytona. I understand that it’s a Grail. I’m complaining at the fact that the manager doesn’t seem to care enough to respond to some messages of mine.
