New Sub in no time

I hit a big work milestone recently. After a few seconds of considering a responsible way to use the bonus that came along with it, I decided to try my hand at purchasing a Submariner. I’ve read the horror stories of the long waitlists and rude ADs, but figured it wouldn’t hurt to stop by the dealer and chat.

So about two weeks ago I walked to the boutique and spoke with a very friendly dealer for about 45 minutes about watches, the Speedy on my wrist, and their current inventory - zero watches. Before I shared my info with him he warned me it could take months before i received a call. I told him I understood and let him know that I hoped to hear back soon.

Fast forward to yesterday - I received a call around 4:00 letting me know the Sub I wanted had arrived. I let my coworkers know I wouldn’t be able to focus for the rest of the day and quickly raced to the dealer. After waiting what seemed like forever, I finally sat down, put on the Sub, and have hardly taken it off since.

Overall, I feel very fortunate to get my Sub within an extremely short amount of time and to have received such great customer service.
