I let my Hulk go and kept my CHNR. No regrets. Both the hulk and the root beer are special watches, but the root beer brings a level of class the Hulk can’t match. I’ll note that I had an Explorer to cover situations the CHNR isn’t suited for, and a BB58 as a diver. Without those two in my collection, I would’ve kept both the hulk and root beer.

I agree with your philosophy on buying watches you love regardless of “investment”. With that said, some context for you: last night, a local grey dealer offered me $25K for my RB. Three months ago, he offered me $18.5K. I feel the RB is catching on — and if you take a look around, they’re harder to find right now on popular grey dealers. Not a reason to buy, but something to consider regarding timing. Hope this is helpful.
