My Dyson is finally giving out, battery dying, expel mechanism faulty. Any other cordless vacuums that are just as durable and nimble to go around the corners? Or should I just get the next iteration V15/Outsize? This one is a V10.

I would say any cordless vacuum is not BIFL since the batteries are not replaceable and eventually die.

Cordless Dysons are especially bad. Mine had the filter on the back fall off and crack on the floor a few days after I bought it (it's poorly designed and hardly has anything keeping it attached.) Should have returned it right then but I taped it back on and kept going. After a few years, the battery hardly lasts a minute on the "Max" setting, which is the only thing strong enough to actually pick stuff up.

It now lives in my bathroom to vacuum up litter that the cats track out of the pan, but otherwise it would go in the trash since it's useless for anything else...
