Hi , fellow gay guy here . Most mainstream japanese media attract a lot of misogynist, homophobes and transphobes. It really sucks , but one way to stand against them is to take up space. Find others like us to join you , and to support each other . I would have definitely join you on those guys using the F slur at locals. Bullies are cowards and when they see they can't pick on the lonely guy.

Keep speaking your mind ( like you are doing in this post ). You can enjoy media and be critical of it . Yu-Gi-Oh! Has a lot of cool things but, like you said, it also has disappointing things too. The sexualization of women vs men is definitely one of them.

Remember that when people harass you for just being you, their goal is to remove you from this space . Don't let bigots win . We have to fight a lot harder than straight cis males just to have a space , and fighting alongside peers and allies is a lot easier than fighting alone.
