I’ve been a lurker but I know this dude irl. I can provide proof if anyone wants it. I’ve been his friend and have talked to him everyday for the last like year and half now. This little fucker is the nicest person I’ve ever met and his problem is that he cares too much about others. As far as the credibility factor of the post. I can vouch and show proof that he did get injured. Is he disabled now? No. In early summer of this year he got injured and both of his legs got crushed in an accident on a rig. (Can provide proof and contact info for it) From what I saw it was like ~3 months before he could fully use his legs again. Injuries are mental and physical, and he probably made it into a bigger deal than it was. Me and some other friends would go up to his house and drink with him. He has the best attitude and didn’t let anything get him down. We took to local bars and he even did stand up comedy 2 weeks after the accident. This little fucker has a bigger heart than anyone here and I’ll be damned if I let people talk about little Matty like this. I worked with him on the rigs on and off since he was a worm. We called him M&M for “Mellow Matt” and Matteline because no matter what he’d be polite and nice as shit to everyone. Nicer than anyone you’ll ever meet on a rig. You meet him and instantly see this kid doesn’t belong on the rigs. But this dude worked harder than anyone and stuck through all of the shit we gave him. We used to take bets on if we could make him pissed off or make him say fuck. The entire time he was a worm we didn’t manage to do so. Believe me we tried and thought he’d quit after his first hitch. And no matter what, the fucker showed up everyday and would make you smile with his upbeat attitude and willingness to do anything for anyone. You might find someone as nice as him, but you’ll never find someone nicer than this little fucker. I promise you that. From what I’ve been told, he’s a floor hand again on a rig (I can’t verify this at the moment) Before he worked his way up to derrickhand, he would have been a driller a year ago if he woulda not have been so soft. He told me all about his ex since the first week they started talking and I have the conversations I’m willing to show. When I see him again I’ll slap him in the face for being such a dumb motherfucker. This was his first girlfriend since I’ve known him and he bragged about her everyday to me. The little dudes really fucked up right now. About this post, I see him as trying to be proud of what he’s done and making ant hills into mountains. But y’all should be ashamed of yourselves. I’m not gunna let anyone talk like this about my little dude that just tries to make everyone around him happy.
