Ah but of course. Your right to salute the Stars and Bars makes you a true American! Your right to carry an AR-15 is more important than the lives of your fellow Americans! Mind you, the right to bear arms is for the purpose of establishing a well maintained militia.

I suggest that you take a long hard think about what it means to be an American. If you continue to believe that unrestricted Second Amendment liberties are more important than the inalienable right to life, then you do not hold American values; former Justice Stevens believes in gun control, as do the majority of Americans. If you think that being able to fly the Confederate flag makes you a patriot, then you have neglected your civic responsibility to treat your right to free speech with due consideration.
