My opinion on weed as a christian

I heard you out. I don't think marijuana is a serious addiction - I take issue with people when their drug problem becomes everyone's problem, and that doesn't seem to happen with marijuana.

People will say that any drug they take that makes them feel good is helping them a thousand ways. I've read people saying that on reddit in defense of everything from LSD to crack cocaine. Just be aware you're exhibiting that same line of thought.

It's great that you say you no longer suffer from those problems...and I don't doubt you...but marijuana is federally illegal, and you have to admit that there is great social stigma of daily smokers.

What you are looking for in marijuana is the CBD. You can purchase federally legal, non narcotic CBD in almost every state. If you aren't willing to treat your illnesses with something effective that is not a narcotic, you're going to have to admit to yourself that you like the high. I really doubt Jesus cares, he didn’t turn water into grape juice and alcohol is orders of magnitude worse, but that stuff is clouding your judgment in obvious ways.
