My Thoughts on E6 "Substitutes"

And from other replies in other threads, TGC has shown that they are a player first org. In this case, I think it's reasonable to try and keep their player - not only so someone doesn't get snaked on E6 (OpTic should know what that feels like after stan/Peter), but because they have a team and instead of just giving up their players/teams, they should try to maintain a roster and actually build off of it.

OpTic is a much different situation. At least in CoD, they are a 'magnet org' so any player that leaves (especially if they sign a new contract) isn't that much of an issue. They'll just bring in the best talent they can - and most will say yes. This works in CoD because the rest of the team is great, and because they can attract players who are great (through YT, etc, potential opportunities) because when their roster formed, contracts were very loose in CoD and roster changes were abundant.

In this situation, I do not think it is their concern to act in the interests of this player. He signed a contract, and should fulfill his obligations under the contract. That's what they are for. TGC can't and shouldn't just keep letting such talented players go because they want to/for the money - at some point it has to turn around and they have to turn a profit/fund a team. No business can live forever or expect continued success being selfless - which is why Stan left and how it's affecting the CS team heavily. Contracts protect an investment and H3CZ not only failed to get Stan to sign/resign after they won the $800,000 and it's causing problems.

At least TGC has contracts so they can make money from these players :/ Hecz would too, if he got them to sign.
