I need help making a peace plan between Israel and Palestine.

I realize that if I shared some of my peace plan I have been working on it would be easier to help. Keep in mind that this plan is in a work in progress and I’m a student with very basic knowledge about this issue. If anyone could point out any major problems with my solutions/any other issues I need to address is would be very appreciated. :)

My rough draft plan:

Right to exist: Both sides would recognize the other’s right to exist as a sovereign state.

Borders: Israel and Palestine would agree on a two-state solution, with Israel recognizing an independent Palestinian state in the West Bank and Gaza Strip with East Jerusalem as its capital. The final borders would be based on the pre-1967 borders with mutually agreed-upon land swaps. A safe passage tunnel would be created to maintain the contiguity of the Palestinian state.

Settlements: Israeli settlements in the West Bank and East Jerusalem would be dismantled or evacuated, and the area would be returned to Palestinian control. However, heavily populated settlements in the West Bank, including Ariel, Ma’ale Adumim, and Gush Etzion would be retained by Israel. In exchange, the Palestinians would receive land of equal value from within Israel.

Refugee issue: Palestinian refugees would be resettled in the newly created Palestinian state, with the support of the international community. The Palestinian Authority would need to work with the refugees to establish housing and other necessary infrastructure to accommodate their return. Some Palestinian refugees would also be resettled in other countries, with financial assistance from Israel and the international community.

Jerusalem: Jerusalem would be shared as the capital of both Israel and a future Palestinian state, with each side having sovereignty over different parts of the city. The predominantly Arab neighborhoods of East Jerusalem would become the capital of the future Palestinian state, and the Israeli government would recognize the Palestinian Authority as the legitimate government of East Jerusalem. The Israeli government would continue to maintain its capital in West Jerusalem, with Israel recognizing the Palestinian Authority's claim to East Jerusalem. Special arrangements would be made for the holy sites in Jerusalem. There would be the creation of a special international body to oversee the administration of the holy sites, with representation from both sides. Jerusalem would become an open city, with free and unrestricted access for both Israelis and Palestinians. This would ensure that Jerusalem remains a shared city, with both Jewish and Arab communities having the freedom to live, work, and worship there.

Demilitarization: Palestine would establish a robust police force, but it would not have an army or air force. Israel would maintain its right to defend itself beyond the boundaries of a future Palestinian state and to pursue any terrorists across the border.
