Need some Warlock help/advice

I honestly wouldn't worry about whether or not you even make use of your bonus action. [...] The bonus action is cool if you really can make the most of it, but sometimes you can do great without it.

Um. So. I'm a bit concerned about your post. You know that Hex doesn't use your Bonus Action every turn, right? It's one Bonus Action to cast it, then nothing to keep it going, and the extra 1d6 damage applies when you land each and every hit. You can only use your Bonus Action again to switch it to a new target subsequent to the current target's death. As a Pal/Lock with Hex, your best use of your Bonus Action (after you cast Hex) is probably to follow up your Extra Attack with TWF so that your attacks have an extra 3d6 per round, not including smite damage, but that assumes you're using two Light weapons or have the Dual Wielder feat. But as a straight Warlock spamming Eldritch Blast, you cast Hex and each subsequent individual beam of Eldritch Blast gets that extra 1d6 without using your Bonus Action, so at level 5 that's 2d10 +2d6 (+2CHA if you also have Agonising Blast).
