Do you need a virtual hug? What's wrong?

Ah, I mean if they're paying it's pretty much their rules unfortunately. My fiancee years ago was in a situation where her father would only pay for school if she got a degree in a field he wanted, he was also abusive and the mother had mental issues and tried to kill her and her sister previously, so not living with them anymore lol. She wanted her dream job, so she left one day without saying anything, slept in her car for 2 weeks until a friend realized it and took her in. She worked and saved for a few months, got a place with roomates, took loans out, went to school got an internship, flew across the country, and even then it took 6 more years to get her foot in the door. So. It took a decade longer than most fortunate enough to have supportive parents but she still made it. If your parents are paying and it's in a field you want to do. It may be worth it to just suck it up unfortunately. If not , you always have options.
