Nelson Cruz with the game winning single against the Rangers, final score 11-10.

I feel it is necessary to share this story with the world: I was at this game. Decided to attend last minute. I had some friends in from out of town and I'm a big baseball fan so they decided to head to the park with me today. My pal suggested going to a local bud shop before for something to eat before the game. I agreed. We didn't know what we got into. The three of us split our purchase and my pal's girl was having a BAD time to say the least at the game. I was loving it.I was heckling the HELL out of Smolinski in LF....he hit a HR shortly after. I asked him when he came in the field to acknowledge me b/c I felt like an idiot and he tipped his cap a bit...Everyone in my section was having a good time, and if you've been to Safeco you know how rare that is (just being honest). We left when the game was 7-2, they knew I love the game so they offered to stay but I could tell this girl was just having a terrible time. I look around before we leave, still down 5 and say....we're still in this game. We start making the trek home and are tracking the game joking about how we're missing one of the best games of the year. The joke turned into reality as the comeback happened...I hate myself.

This only goes to compound my bad luck @ Safeco. A couple seasons ago I had a couple free tickets b/c the game I went to had credit card issues @ concession stands ( I experienced no issues but the Ms gave free tix to all in attendance. They allowed a couple games to select from. My buddies and I decide on a game but the tickets were purchased in a bundle for a large group of people and two couldn't make it so we rescheduled...Phil Humber happened to throw a perfect game that day..... :,(

TL;DR: Safeco Field reks me
