It’s the reason that so many are waking up and rebelling now. Because the pandemic showed everyone whose jobs were actually “essential”. After being told for decades that low wage jobs only exist as a stepping stone to “real” jobs we all saw the desperation and fear when the supply chain had a disruption.

The alarming part is how much the billionaire establishment has managed to brainwash boomers. I’m a boomer myself and back in the day it wasn’t unusual for a 40 year old man stocking groceries to be the primary breadwinner, for example. The checkout clerks at my local grocery store paid a wage of $14 an hour and time and a half on Sundays FORTY YEARS AGO because they knew they were competing with union wages and didn’t want the hassle. It’s frustrating to see people who lived through this say such ignorant things and believe them. I hate this timeline.
