I finished it a bit ago so pardon any mistakes, but to anyone who chose to romance Cas and Gabriel through the end, were you also a little disappointed in the ending? I had M!Gabriel and F!Cas (genders not important to this question, I’m just showing my choice for the LI’s) and I really did like the book but when my character basically said

“I can’t choose between you, it hurts too much” and Gabriel went “you don’t have to do it now”

I was honestly a little bit disappointed! I mean we were able to get through the whole book with really great scenes, both with them alone and them together and seeing how it developed from friendship/indifference to romance (them to us) and then from hatred/annoyance to reluctant friends (them to each other) and how it all got tangled between the three characters, so it didn’t get to me too much, but I just felt like it was a line that didn’t need to be included.
