Still feels really weird to see hardcore bands at the stereotypical rich kid fest when hardcore always felt like a raw dirty poor kid thing to me, but i can't blame them, it was probably their highest paying gig ever.

Guess i kinda take it personally in a weird way because i got into hardcore because they were the only kids in my area who really embraced me, and at the time it just felt like this thing that was supposed to be cheap and accessible to everyone, going to free house shows, seeing Trash Talk play a free illegal concert on the middle of a bridge in austin during sxsw, meeting kieth morris meet me outside a venue and him sneaking me in to his 21+ OFF! Show when i was 15.

Just feels weird seeing it at a festival I'll never be able to go to. It always felt so accessible and now im starting to worry hardcore is gonna go more mainstream and money motivated like punk did with warped tour and the ticket prices are going to go upand ticketmaster will start selling out hardcore shows too.

Idk man im kinda venting, i know this is all probably nothing i just feel weird about seeing knocked loose at Coachella and don't really know how to express that and dont wanna just be like "how dare they play that rich kid fest"
