New Manager - help?

No, it was on the weekend in a personal vehicle. Small company of 9 people including the owners. The owners are very nice and allowed them to work as to not lose money or have to use up their vacation/sick time. They missed the work day and brought in a note from the ER that they were checked for neck/spine pain and referred out. Came in with a brace on the next day.

As far as I was able to find, if they are injured off the clock but we allow them to work knowing they were hurt then they could claim injury if they exacerbate the problem. So they've been on very light duty, no lifting, stand or sit as needed, extra breaks if needed, etc. with the intention of the specialist referral signing off after the evaluation.

But it's now affecting the work of others.
