New Releases Thread 12/17 - 12/23

That's what I've heard, but I think their legal understanding is misguided and they're actually setting themselves up for significantly worse liability. If they admitted they were wrong, they'd just have to remedy it to avoid a lawsuit - accept the return and charge back the seller, nbd.

In general, when someone claims StockX falsely authenticated an item, StockX denies it and suggests that the purchaser sell the item back thru StockX, which is essentially encouraging what StockX good-and-well knows to be shipping of counterfeit items. That's highly illegal. I think StockX would rely on plausible deniability but some of the fakes they authenticate as real are CLEARLY fakes. I wouldn't be surprised if a class action happens some time down the road.
