5.0 Progression

5.1 Reach the Prison

Fight through the Fallen and Rebel Awoken to reach the gates of the Prison of Elders.

Enemies present :

Captains (shrapnel launcher variants only)

Awoken Elites Location : Elder’s Path

The Reef Objectives: The Raid fireteam must fight their way through the Rebel Fleet’s territory in the Reef along the Elder’s Path until they reach the gates to the Prison. The Awoken Snipers assume positions on high ground to target the fireteam, while the House of Wolves assaults them from the front and both flanks. At the gates, two Awoken Elites spawn with a wave of Fallen troops. When killed, the Elites each drop one Prison Key item.

5.2 Open the Gate Use the broken Prison Key to re-open the gates and kill the remaining guards.

Awoken Marker Drones Location: Elder’s Path

The Reef Objectives: Two players carrying the Prison Keys must enter the two shielded tunnels either side of the gate and make their way through a jumping puzzle with the increased agility conferred by the Prison Keys. Meanwhile, the four players outside must survive an increasingly more dangerous onslaught of Fallen and Awoken. The Prison Key holders must reach the end of their respective puzzles and activate the two Prison Keyholes to open the gate before the players outside are overrun. At this point the enemies will stop spawning.

5.3 Defeat the Guards

Defeat the three Prison Guards and enter the Prison of Elders.

Location: Elder’s Path

The Reef Objectives: Defeat the three Prison Guards as they emerge from the gate and summon reinforcements from within the Prison. All three Prison Guards are fought at once, and if they are not defeated they will summon additional waves of increasingly powerful and numerous Dregs and Vandals every minute. Once they are defeated and any remaining Fallen wiped out, the forcefield beyond the gate will drop and the Raid fireteam may enter the Prison of Elders.

5.4 Navigate the Maze

Make your way through the Maze of Cells, wiping out the Chained Fallen.

Chained Barons Location: The Maze of Cells

The Reef Objectives: The Maze of Cells is a series of tight, twisting corridors lines with individual cells that constantly shift and move to create new pathways. The Raid fireteam must survive an endless assault from crazed Fallen while hunting down the cells of four Chained Captains and two Chained Barons. One Chained Baron will leave his cell for every two Chained Captains killed. Once all six Chained Fallen are dead, the fireteam may escape the Maze through the second Chained Baron’s cell and enter Argeth’s Haunt.
