No choice but to put hair in a tight, high ponytail every day. How to combat bald patches and receding hairline? (Other than chopping off my long hair)

Honestly I'm used to being controlled over every aspect of my life. While my school is definitely way more extreme, it actually isn't uncommon for schools to set strict and perhaps bizarre rules here.

I'm happy to see that newer schools are giving their students more freedom though :)

I hope I don't seem naive. Actually I'm not sure how to differentiate between discipline and abuse anymore. This is unrelated to my school, but...I only realised that my parents were abusive after years and years of threats and getting beaten every single day. I thought it was normal, so I never mentioned how bad it was to anyone. Until I had more contact with the outside world and realised that this is not OK.

Sadly, strict rules are very common here in SE Asia, or at least the region where I live in, but my school is overdoing it and I hope it changes one day.
