I first started noticing a couple grey hairs while in my high school bathroom at 17/18 years old. I'd just dye my hair for the sake of a color change and it dyed the grey ones, as well.

At 28, I haven't dyed my hair in probably 3/4 years and I definitely have a surprising amount of grey/white hairs (stress, I blame it on-- maybe genetics, I wouldn't know, my mother and sister dye their hair a lot so I can't compare). Sometimes I think it's lame, sometimes I think the stark contrast on my brown hair looks rather striking and cool. Mostly, I just don't care. I could just dye it, but I'm pretty indecisive over color and rather apathetic about it (even though I'm subscribed here and other hair subbreddits).

It is what it is, I guess.

I'm just trying to let itself grow au natural for a while and not use heat too much to try to otgerwise strengthen it before putting it through some rounds(dye it when I decide on a couple of or perm it curly).
