Non Trump supporters. What do you like about Trump?

We both know he was referring to Latin@s as a whole and used "Mexican" as a shorthand for that, so yeah, getting there...

He's actually referring to illegals.. He's never said anything for me to think that statement meant latin@s as a whole. And he is right about it, the illegals that cross the border are bringing to us the biggest amount of crime and drug problems.. 80% of women crossing the borders are raped by illegalsSource. They are a major contributor to crime in this country. It's something that needs to be addressed. We are losing jobs due to illegal immigrants working cheaper and being payed under the table. It's a problem, especially in southern states.

Yep pretty racist, and this guy managed his damn casino for him. Not just "some guy."

Eh, I don't think a quote from a book from some guy he knew is very damning evidence but even if he said that, it was one statement almost 30 years ago. I can count a time recently when Obama has said racist things. here's one. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F92lesEfuE8. Hillary has her share of damning statements, way worse than trump has said. People can change their opinions, or even say dumb things out of anger, I just don't see any evidence that he's a flat out racist without cherry picking statements 3 decades ago. It's not enough for me and shouldn't be to anyone else to let that be a deciding factor over everything else he stands for to change this country. A 30 year old statement is less important than the terrorism we face today or the trade deals we need, or the jobs we need to bring back to America that he is very qualified to face.

And then goes on to say this guy isn't qualified to be a judge just because of his fucking heritage, so yeah, I think he's racist.

The judge is part of an organization called La Raza which means "the race", and is a Mexican political activist. The Judges integrity is not being questioned by Trump just because of his Hispanic heritage. Trump is merely asserting that a person’s heritage does not foreclose a proper inquiry into their political activism and potential biases; he is suggesting that the judge is a man who supports awarding an illegal alien a scholarship – might not view favorably a man who wants to deport the said scholarship recipient. The recent tension at the rallies with Mexican flag waiving and burning of American flags doesn't help either.

Anyways, just a thought. :)
