I didn’t want to delete my old fics because there were still people reading them and, in a way, I’m still fond of them even if I don’t like them anymore. Orphaning is never an option for me because not having control over them would make me go crazy. I decided to move them to a second account, but I actually had to make two because I wanted to divide my old English fics from the old fics I’d written on my native language. The process does take a while based on how many fics you have to move and the days you have to wait to get an invitation for a new account. I guess not msby people are interested in that if they don’t really like the story anymore, so they just delete and move on.
