Blue Lotus in Coffee Cuts Stimulant Anxiety More Effectively Than L-theanine

Not true. Archeologists have now proven that “Blue Lotus” is “Blue Water Lily.” The species used by the ancients is almost indistinguishable from the samples they tested from mummy remains. All the phytosterols and antioxidants are identical.

The reason most of today’s blue water lily (sold as “Blue Lotus” or “water lily of the Nile”) comes from Asia is because: water farms. Blue water lily is indigenous to Asia, and most speculate that is how it came to be found in Egypt. However, unlike today, the Nile used to have fresh water that could sustain botanical life. Now it is too toxic. This flower only blooms once per year, and must be harvested in the 3 days the bloom is open. Without the Asian water farms, it would be extinct, instead of “almost extinct.”

But it’s probably for the best that people believe all the misinformation, as I’ve noticed none of the “brands” that I trusted for the past few years even exist anymore. It’s getting close to time’s up, I think.
