This is wordy because I’m tired and rambling atm but... Not bullshit really imo. Un-American might mean different things to different people of course but here goes. As a specific example we can use the part of trump’s garbage platform that is anti immigrant. So this then would have to do with America being a “melting pot” etc and in the (now mostly) liberal leaning view that if you’re a racist dick who hates immigrants you’re a hypocritical asshole because all US citizens have heritage attached to immigrants of some form or another (who doesn’t really at this point though?). The exception to this is First Nations/Indigenous populations (obviosuly these peoples have roots elsewhere as well but I mean people “coming to America” in the sense that is traditionally understood; Pilgrims, steamboat steerage passengers/Ellis Island arrivals etc. cough SLAVES cough) This hypocrisy of hating immigrants is almost exclusively owned by the right-wing shitstains that support trump. They are decidedly “un-American” in that sense. This also has to do with many other qualities most stable minded Americans would say they posses like compassion for other human beings in general, that trump and his goons don’t have, (I know the world is laughing but for some of us it’s still true, we care.) Freedom as reality in the US has been tainted by opportunistic warmongers almost from day 1 and it reflects poorly on the people who genuinely wish the best for the world and want to see the US thrive and help everyone who needs it. So yea, again, trump is un-American af in that sense. That allll being said, in the most painful and cynical view of our country that comes from finally reflecting on our worst elements (that the world has seen for a long time), and by trump representing the insidious scum we apparently share our country with, he is unfortuantely very “American”.

At least that’s how I see it. Hope that sounds reasonable and makes some sense. Sorry it’s an essay.
