It amazes me that people still come here, especially if they are not white, even to the point of doing so illegally. How fucked is it where they are coming from or do they not know?

I mean if I had the means I would gtfo right now and somehow people still look at us as if we are some paradise. Is it the movies, the propaganda? I really don't get it.

I hope they do well here, but most of them will be exploited terribly. They are basically signing up to be slaves and risking this kind of shit just to be able to do it.

I really wish we were what these people were hoping for, it makes me sad and angry.

Something has to give. It has gone too far. At least people seem to be waking up a bit to it, even if we are fractured beyond repair along ideological lines.

This political "tug of war" we seem to be having is unsustainable and eventually the bill is going to come due.. sooner than later I fear.
