Now I know why they call it Super Yeast...

I got a load of Simcoe/Amarillo hops and WLP090 for Christmas so I decided to brew a nice clean, hoppy IPA. This is my first time using San Diego Super Yeast (I've mostly been using Conan/WLP002 for my (D)IPAs) and it has by far been the most violent fermentation I've ever seen. I thought that WY3787 was insane but this is definitely up there.

Here's the recipe I came up with if anyone's interested:

0.75 oz - Warrior, Type: Pellet, AA: 16.8, Use: First Wort, IBU: 28.5
3 oz - Amarillo, Type: Pellet, AA: 8.6, Use: Whirlpool for 0 min at 170 °F
4 oz - Simcoe, Type: Pellet, AA: 12.7, Use: Whirlpool for 0 min at 170 °F
3 oz - Amarillo, Type: Pellet, AA: 8.6, Use: Dry Hop for 5 days
2 oz - Simcoe, Type: Pellet, AA: 12.7, Use: Dry Hop for 5 days
