NVIDIA has a new Vulkan Beta driver which may fix multiple titles with DXVK and Steam Play

This is a terrible idea all around.

40GB/s is the peak. Sharing with other applications reduces the amount of memory bandwidth available. This becomes even more true if you are running VM's on the machine.

From personal experience with VFIO if the graphics card (with passthrough) has to communicate with system RAM (particularly for looking glass) speeds are reduced significantly. You can't even run a 4k @ 60fps resolution between the iGPU and graphics card with LG. The only way around this is to have two GPU's talking to each other directly bypassing system memory.

Can Nvidia code dynamic vram or is this a limitation with the GPU architecture they are using?
