I don't wanna wait for technique tuesday, sorry.

Is this a move any good? No one taught it to me, I just kinda started doing it in sparring. If my opponent came at me quickly, I'd step my left, lead foot behind my right foot, changing stances while throwing a right hook. My logic here was I'm covering a lot of ground retreating, moving their target, my head, further away, while the place my weapon is mounted, my right shoulder, stays in the sameish place. I also figure I'd generate power the same way one would with a check hook.

I'll admit I never hit anybody with it, but I also was never hit while throwing it and it's more of a defensive move. I also think the place it'd really shine is if someone got over excited and was really hunting you down which is a situation I never found myself in with sparring partners. What do y'all think?
