Ah yes, you guys are curious about my lame-duck 2 cents about the album? hahaha. I checked it all out earlier today. No lost sales because I don't buy anything so nothing lost. I just listen to these 1700 internet radio stations playlist I made from shoutcast. I listen to everything except not really into country or rap too much. I do listen to reggae though don't be thinking I'm racist. haha. To be a racist is illogical because the person can't change who they are. Allright, silenced that pretty quick.
Not really into rap but I can understand why people are into it. I'm like 44, eh. I can remember when rap first started. They used to sound like white people trying to rap back then. It changed as the decades went on. Not the same as back in the late 70's early 80's. Back then when Blondie tried rapping, it sounded like them ok. Then it changed, oh I don't know when.. the late 90's.
I'm aware of a bit of what's going on in music in recent years. I just don't have time to check it all out. I'm into jazz and classical. Smooth jazz. Simple shit just doesn't cut it anymore. So rock songs you heard way too many times, just doesn't do it.
Now, listened to Kanye's whole album, an hour, without missing a minute. Was playing wgt golf multiplayer game, so not too distracted with like having to type.
That first track was odd. You need some type of steady groove. Later stuff too he was trying odd notes that sounded bad. Listen that's not experimental, or "artsy" that just sounds bad. That last track was awful. Using some old rock song with "your love is fading". The rest wasn't mixing well. Some other guy was trying to rap and you can bet he was thinking, shut this shit off and let me just rap. I don't know what kind of drugs they were on but that was not sounding good. lol.
Kept listening to it all without pausing or fast forwarding. You get what they call like a hook, or something where it sounds like like normal type singing. Noticed that Chris Brown track, that's more like what would get mainstream kids who listen to pop.
A lot of the notes with all the songs, seem like really simple melodies. Rap is a bit odd with how you're supposed to sing with what the rest goes. A lot of it is just like a fucking dog incessantly barking the whole time. Shut the fuck up for a second. hahaha. Sometimes they do, they bring it down and pause the beat.
A lot of the ambience with what's being mixed you feel like atmosphere. You picture all the multitrack things for when new sounds or samples kick in and a lot of shit going on.
I remember a while back I had checked out all of one of his albums. Looking it up.. Yeah it was Yeezus I think Rick Rubin was involved. This white Rick Rubin guy seems a little bit odd to be involved with that eh. But some of it was experimental with the sampling and beats, for a rap record. Seemed like there was less of that with this one. Looking at the "personnel" on this one, seems just as excessive as the credits with all the people involved in the new one.

Kept listening to this Pablo.. Just the overtones of this type of music. It seems like there's not much "fun".. ok it's this negative type of attitude with everything. I guess the people out there in this blah world these days with inflation, can relate. But it's like, holy fuck, mellow out and quit being so just negative about everything. They're so serious. All this rap language which almost isn't even english anymore and would need a translator.
You can get like those "hook" parts where maybe a female will sing something. Then you get the rap barking parts again. Who knows what's going on with the music in the meantime. Do notes go with like tones of what they're saying. You notice real simple not changes. Often real simple stuff which will just repeat. I notice the beats all the time, like what's going on with the drums. Not real drums but whatever they're trying to do. Real simple. Sort of like 80's rap almost ever since. Sometimes you can get faster type of beats though with all these little things changing.
So how come some of these other acts have more recognizable worldwide hits. Meanwhile like I mentioned before, Kanye might have something if you'd look at whatever he won awards for but doesn't seem like anything super catchy with a big worldwide mainstream hit. He needs to quit fucking around with the shit that sounds bad and get that catchy hook. Then you can do the rap between that. You know, the more popular pop songs always have like some kind of rap part. I think he might have had some here and there.. but yeah.. focus on that maybe a bit.
A lot of the album seemed to be like thrown together bits of whatever eh. haha. oh and later he had that something about LA. That was a longer one. Seemed like there was a little more together with it. The whole album though seemed to be missing that "big hit", you know what I mean? Christ, you'd think with the 3 busloads of everybody involved in the credits, somebody would have said, hey where's that catchy hit? hahaha.
Now, we get into fucking kanye's ego.. hahahah.. People don't know the hit but they sure do his fucking shenanigans which have nothing to do with music. Then his fucking attitude and his oh my fucking god the way he thinks he's the biggest thing since I don't know what. Yeah the grammy amounts may have gone to his head but holy fucking shit. Take a, what's the saying.. something about modesty. Ya know, you don't go around saying you're the fucking best! That's why people don't like him. Shut the fuck up with how you're astonishing and maybe try to proove it.
Here's where he really fails though. Earlier today I was checking his twitter and checked just photos. Noticed this Donda sub companies and business ideas. This is where he's delusional. He's done well in the music, has proof there with those grammy amounts. Where his problem is, is he goes around saying he's like the greatest person, even better than Einsten with the entrepreneur realm, as well. But his proof is not happening there. Wow is he ever delusional. Like hows about you go do some of those sub companies under that Donda umbrella and go be a billionaire there, then maybe it'll backup your bullshit. Hang on lemme go get that info pic.

I can picture some of them.. it's like, good for you. Most fucking pop artists who try and do business, will have like a fucking fragrance and maybe some other shit but they generally have no business sense. All they can do is figure out how to make money from more of their movies or what not. They never become great in the business world. So all these words he's got in this "Donda communications company, categories of influence organizational chart" they seem nifty but where's the fucking ground breaking shit. Same thing with the music.
He thinks he's just this innovator, but it sounds like all the rest before. Nothing pioneering, ok. It's the same shit as everybody else. Some guy in the comments mentioned that in the future yeah he'll be mentioned for his awards, yeah the rapping is allright but its the same thing that's been done before. He's not a ground breaker, moving music into the future with new things which have not been done before. He sure talks like he's doing it though, but he is not. The shit he does is the same as what's been going on in rap since the late 90's, just like everybody else.
But he thinks he's on the same level as michelangelo, tesla, edison, who knows. Kanye thinks he's just this miraculous innovator like the greatest human in history.
ok so when he tries to do "fashion" there's nothing new which hasn't been done before ok. In that realm I can think of new things you can do like using all sorts of light in fabric. But no, I think I seen some of his shit, didn't he do just a fucking plain white t-shirt before. Like come on. It's not his fault though, all fashion is what's been done. No innovation. Yet here he is, talking like he's the greatest human ever, advancing mankind, ok, but the shit he's actually done, besides music, ain't nowhere near the bullshit that keeps coming out of his mouth about how supreme he is. That's what people have a problem with.
He needs to shut the fuck up, and go do some groundbreaking shit with these business ideas, and change the world. Go fucking help people, you know intead of saying how great you are, go fucking proove it.
