I am devastated and sick to my stomach that I have to say this out loud. But Gary Harris is not worth that. He has two more years on his contract which won’t be injury free and it won’t be tradeable. Orlando also doesn’t value any of those guys or any second round picks for a guy like that.

You have a cheaper and slightly lesser version of him in D.Reed who is in no way an asset to anyone in the league basically. And it’s not worth giving up Ish or DJ as 3rd string depth.

As much as I don’t care about Watson compared to Gary, you probably shouldn’t trade your only 1st round project (Braun is more NBA ready and not seen as a project.). since we don’t have a 1st this year to draft. And I also don’t think Orlando views him as a positive asset.

Gary’s unique in that he could probably net a first from some contenders that really need him. But for us he costs too much in terms of the depth we give up. And none of the assets we have are appealing enough to Orlando. Bad trade for Orlando and weird one for us.
