My dad’s old season tickets were above the visitor’s bench with our family friend’s next to us—Lakers/Nuggets WCF games in 2009 were a sea of Lakers fans around that area. Lots of the drunk ones would talk trash on us cause we were the only powder blue in the area lol. But one game this young guy was getting up in our family friend’s face and yelling stuff (don’t remember exactly what because I was 9 at the time) but he started shoving. To preface this, my dad’s friend was one of the most soft spoken, nicest, carefree guys you could imagine. Dude graduated Yale with a forestry degree and drove a minivan. He just wound up though and clocked this guy and then security came and escorted the Laker fan out. To this day we still joke that he’s my dad’s muscle lol.

Glad to see that the Laker-likes to fight-type fan seems to have gone away nowadays though.
