Konami's decision fair?

I don't think you can blame Konami for this... As much as many people including me like to give them stick all the time...

On Konami's web page, they've always said that "Iconic Moment Series players that you have signed may be rendered unusable due to league and licensing issues. If any such issues should occur during a major version update, affected Iconic Moment Series players that you own will be replaced with other players."

In fact, people including me were worried things like last year would happen. I personally had Owen exchanged for Alcacer which pissed me off. However, you have to understand that these were the terms and people who spent on these legends and IMs took the risk that they may be revoked if there are licensing issues.

It's already good that Konami is willing to give us legends back for legends or IMs back for IMs as what they originally said was "other players" could be the replacement. Plus, if everyone could just choose who they wanted, it's not fair as well to some other users who don't have those cards that had their licenses revoked. E.g. some people are already complaining how people who got Chivu now gets him upgraded to a Kaiser, Maldini or Puyol, i.e. you can never please everyone. And Konami is a business after all, would we really expect them to give us endgame players just because other players had their licenses revoked?

Lastly, a legend is a legend and an IM is still an IM. We should just be happy Konami listened and made this change to exchange the same card types for us. Plus, you said you didn't want Elber or Morientes, but I'm telling you that Morientes has super sub too so he's also very good, just like Inzaghi but maybe a bit slower, however with better heading.
