'On site' MA Tesol from non-native English speaking country (Hong Kong) Vs. Online MA Tesol from native speaking country (eg. UK)

It depends on what you want to do and where you want to do it. That is, the context of your potential dream job in education should guide your decision. The short answer is that how you get your degree doesn't matter unless it matters for the specific context for a specific job that you want (e.g., working in a university in UAE).

I work in higher education in SE Asia. My university wouldn't hire you, even in the pre-college programs, if you had a degree from Asia. My university would hire you if your diploma was from a university in the UK, US, or Australia. The method of delivery of instruction during your studies has no importance. Also, your race or gender wouldn't be important like many here think is true for jobs in Asia. The single most important thing is having diplomas from the UK, US, or Australia. So, you'd be better off with an online degree from the UK if you wanted to work where I work.

Think about what you want to be doing in 10 years and where you want to be working. For me, I'd do the online degree during the evenings and weekends and continue to teach.
