On the Wired Article

It's so strange being able to read a long statement from a Mormon and know for a fact that the pleasant, friendly, loving demeanor is a complete sham. And I knew it reading this entire post. Look at the note. He said what he really wanted to say at the very end after overloading you with fake, classic-Mormon BS - his main point was that his guy "floundered" and only published the story to "make deadline". The rest of it was a facade to make you like him and think of him as a pleasant person.

I don't read fiction so idgaf about any of that but I encourage all of you to be skeptical of Mormons and their public facing facades. It's so ironic seeing a Mormon pretend to value authenticity when they are anything but authentic. They are coached to be pleasant and non-confrontational with you - the non-member - but are vicious assholes (with a smile) to each other.

He's a cultist. Whatever you think of his work or him as a person he is objectively a cultist.
