Me too! When I was a kid I would get chronic ear infections because I was allergic to cigarette smoke. My mother would be at the Drs. Office making a scene because they didn't want me on antibiotics all the time and would tell her if she went outside to smoke they would stop. After she would put me in the car and light up continuing the cycle, but she would tell everyone how she had to fight for antibiotics for her sick child when the dr wouldn't give me any. Those were the only times I went to the doctor. One time I was limping around for almost 2 weeks while she called me a baby and said I was doing it for attention before the head of a needle finally poked out of my heel. I really feel for this kid and I hope CPS takes notice.
