Orbital fat loss and eye creams

The skin around the eyes is so delicate, I wouldn't put anything that doesn't have an ingredient that actively inhibits periorbital fat atrophy anywhere near it, and don't(anymore).

I used latisse a few months ago and noticed the faintest hint of a dent on one of my eyelids on the fifth day of use and to the trash it went. I was hyper-aware(? because I had read about it(I thought if I was s u p e r d u p e r cautious I could avoid getting any liquid in my eyeballs though. Nope), but even if I wasn't, it was hard to miss. My eyes are so big they bulge a bit and there's not a lot of periorbital fat showing, so if you get rid of the very little bit I "have" to begin with, I will notice. This was with me applying them to my bottom lash line ONLY btw. My upper lashes are dark, thick, full, and decent length. I thought if I didn't see any side effects I'd move on to my upper lashes. lol! I'm sorry but spider-leg-long eyelashes won't overcompensate for having eyes like Cher's at the age of 21.

The good news is that my eyes are back to normal, maybe I was one of the lucky ones. The bad news is that I now cannot bring myself to get a lash lift. Bimatoprost was approved for use in 2001. With the facts that studies showcasing this side effect weren't publicized until ten or so years later and that eyelash perms are a fairly recent trend in mind, I will have to pass. Maybe I'm overly paranoid and dramatic but convenience doesn't trump all for me.
