The problem is that you can't separate their economic policies from their social policies. That's the problem with political parties in general. And the person I was replying to didn't say anything about only supporting their economic policies. He actually supports their barbaric social ideas. So your argument doesn't even apply here. And besides, their economic policies are terrible as well. Trickle down economics doesn't work. Do you deny that their social policies are based on xenophobia and religious extremism? These are things that are wholly unacceptable and not open for debate. And while I realize that comparing your opponents to Nazis is cliche, it has become demonstrably true with the GOP in every aspect now except outright genocide. So just because they haven't taken the final step into the abyss, you think their core ideas still have merit? We are past the point where supporting this crap gets a free pass anymore. Next time don't start your argument with a statement that contradicts itself.
