[other] peuc extension

Screenshot of OK UI website which says it will be backdated

Thank you so much for responding. I'm still a bit confused. What would be my best option as far as being able to have as many total weeks of benefits available without being directly laid off due to COVID?

Option 1- Apply for a new claim on 6/22, the day after my benefit year ends. I'll have sufficient wages in my base period and should (AFAIK) qualify for 26 weeks basic OK UI. This appears to be my best option because it shouldn't be contingent on anything COVID related, unless I'm missing something. Then at the end of 26 weeks, probably not have any more available extensions available, State or Federal.

Option 2- Wait until 7/1 when my base period wages disqualify me for regular UI. Apply for PUA and get 39 (or is it 26?) weeks of PUA, provided that I would be eligible for PUA based on being ineligible for UI based on wages, but not having a direct COVID reason? If there's any chance that this would rely on me needing a COVID reason, I don't think there's any way I can risk trying this, even if it would (appear to) offer 13 more weeks than Option 1.
